 Coast 236 Restaurant & Bar hosted its inaugural Cooking Class for Kids: Coast Junior on Saturday morning, March 2, for Kid Chefs aged approximate 8–12. Our Kid Chefs had a blast at our making handmade tortillas, quesadillas, crafting chicken tacos with cheese, chips with mild salsa and guacamole, and chocolate-banana quesadillas. The class was so successful, we are already planning class number two. Besides learning to make handmade tortillas and the many dishes to prepare with them, the Kid Chefs helped Coast 236 choose the items AND created the designs and selections for the summer kids' menus.
